Square Foot Gardening 101

I’m glad you’ve come to join us for the Gardening 101 Class; we will go over all you need to know to make your Square Foot Garden a success. Specifically we’ll discuss details about the materials you will need and what makes them important.

I hope you enjoyed the preview and are eager to learn what you need to know to put it all together. First I do want to say I have been certified by the Square Foot Gardening Foundation to teach this method. This is the very same class that is taught in horticulture centers around the U.S. The classes are set for a variety of times so you can pick one that is convenient for you. This class runs about three hours, so plan accordingly.

Also, I recommend that you get the All New Square Foot Gardening book written by Mel Bartholomew. This book will be invaluable as you go out and put your garden together. It acts as a reference point that you will come back to when you’re out setting everything up. You can get it now or after the class but it will be a must-have eventually.
