Free Vegetable Garden Plans Take the Guesswork Out of Planting a Garden.
Creating vegetable garden plans can be very overwhelming. There are so many things to consider.
What are gardening zones?
What’s my frost date?
When do I plant each vegetable?
How do I start my own seeds?
The list of questions could go on and on, but it doesn’t have to. You will find the answer to all those questions here, when you pick you vegetable garden plans.
I’ve always just grown tomatoes and I’m comfortable with tomatoes, but there are so many other vegetables that I love to eat. When I learned the Square Foot Gardening method it gave me the desire to branch out, but there was so much I didn’t know.
I started to get excited about all the possibilities, but the more I looked into each one the more I realized I didn’t know. Then the doubt started to creep in. Could I really be a successful gardener if I didn’t know everything? Unfortunately I didn’t have the time to learn it all before that dreaded frost date came around.
Well the truth is, my first attempt wasn’t all that great (except my tomatoes-those were fabulous.) I started my seeds too late. I’d missed the spring season vegetables completely. I didn’t have everything ready to go in time.
I didn’t realize how much planning it would take and that there was a precise timeline that I needed to follow. Lucky for you I took the time to really plan out my garden for next the next year and I am more then glad to share those results with you.
I have made a
21 week vegetable garden plan
that corresponds with your specific frost dates. This vegetable gardening plan will take you through seed starting to hardening your starts and then finally planting them in your garden.
I have included most of the major vegetables, although I’m sure there are some that I have not accounted for, and also some fruits. Hopefully this will give you the jump-start you need to take your newly acquired Square Foot Gardening skills and have the best garden that you can.
The vegetable garden plans are based off of your last frost date but there are some other factors you must consider. For instance, your first frost date. This is important to determine when your different growing seasons start. Also, you need to consider gardening zones or hardiness zones. This will allow you to know what vegetables you can grow in your area.
Take some time to look through the next couple of pages and find your
gardening zone
, your
frost dates
, and then pick your
vegetable garden plans.
